The U2 Question
Jesus meets us with a simple but searching question: “What are you looking for?” (John 1:29-42) In a world that constantly competes for our attention, Christ invites us to not just look, but to come and see—to enter relationship, community, and shared life, abiding with the One who knows us and walks with us.
We are in the season of Epiphany. The word “epiphany” began with an ancient Greek word, epiphaneia (Isn’t that a beautiful word?), which means “manifestation”. Its synonyms include “revelation”, “insight” and “awakening”. In other words, this is a time to “come and see”, as Jesus invites us to do when we follow him.
