Nurturing Faith in Children:
We believe authentic, lasting faith grows when children have a sense of belonging and feel believed in. To cultivate this, we use the Celebrate Wonder strategy, helping children connect faith and Bible stories to their everyday lives in meaningful ways.
Preschool (6 weeks – 5 years)
Preschool children are invited to experience God’s love weekly in our nursery.
Parents/Caregivers: Check in your children at the Kid’s Sunday School Welcome Desk in Lobby Court before the 10:00 AM service.
Children attend the beginning of the service in the Sanctuary with their parents/caregivers. After the Children’s Message, parents/caregivers may escort their children to the nursery.
INTRODUCING C.A.T.! A NEW SUNDAY MORNING CHILDREN’S PROGRAM AT FUMC! (Kindergarten – 5th Grade)
Join us for C.A.T! (Children’s Activity Time)
When: Four weeks, beginning August 16th and running through September 13th.
Time: Sundays from 10:20 AM (after the Children’s Sermon) until the end of the service at 11:00
Who: Kindergarten – 5th graders.
What to Expect: Each session will feature faith-based stories, crafts, games, and a snack! Our lessons will explore Bible stories and faith concepts—like our first theme: “What makes God smile?”
