DESCRIPTION:FAITH250 CONVERSATIONS  \n\n\n\nFUMC is one of four churches in Loveland hosting dialogues based on foundational texts of American democracy over the next few months\, in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary. Faith250: Sacred Bonds\, Shared Hopes is a national program that is meant to build community and create space for people of all faiths and political stripes to engage in meaningful conversations\, finding what we share in common. FUMC will host on April 21st. You can also mark your calendars for May 19th at All Saints Episcopal and June 23rd at Zion Lutheran. All gatherings are held from 6:00-7:30pm. You can attend one or all. These dialogues are also being held at venues in Fort Collins\, hosted by Church World Service; go to cwsfortcollins.org for dates and locations.

Check out a lineup of vintage vehicles and vote for your favorite in our People’s Choice Award (announced at 5:30)! SUMMARY:SARAH'S HOME & RECLAIMING HOPE
DESCRIPTION:FUMC will recognize this important Sunday giving opportunity on May 17th by welcoming two special women to FUMC\, both dedicated to supporting survivors of human sex trafficking.  \n\n\n\nJillian Winters is the Community Development Coordinator for Sarah’s Home\, a residential home and sanctuary on the Front Range for girls ages 12 through 17 who are survivors of sex trafficking. Their ministry offers healing\, education\, restoration and reintegration so the girls will learn to live as survivors instead of victims. Jillian will offer the Mission Moment that Sunday. \n\n\n\nMandie Hoehne is the Director of Survivor Care for Reclaiming Hope\, an organization  that cares for survivors of sex trafficking at any age\, journeying with them to discover hope. Their ministry provides care from the point of recovery\, during restoration and reintegration by addressing their physical\, emotional and spiritual needs. The daughter of Lynette and Doug Mannering\, Mandie grew up at FUMC and will be delivering the message that Sunday.  \n\n\n\nBoth Jillian and Mandie will be available to answer questions during fellowship time after the service.

Photojournalist Nate Gowdy has covered hundreds of political events across 27 states. One of his photos made the cover of TIME. Most recently\, he covered on-the-ground events and backstories of hope in Minneapolis. \n\n\n\nThe event will conclude with an important discussion about the work that is currently being done to prepare for a possible ICE surge in Northern Colorado. \n\n\n\nSpace is limited. DESCRIPTION:This summer\, Union Spiritual Community\, Trinity United Methodist Church\, and First United Methodist Church are partnering for two special evenings centered around food\, fellowship\, and connection. Both meals will feature dishes prepared by trained culinary professionals.  \n\n\n\nOn June 30 at 5:30pm\, Trinity United Methodist Church hosts a potluck meal featuring a main course and salad prepared by Ken Newkirk. Attendees are invited to bring a side\, salad\, or dessert\, especially something meaningful or tied to a favorite memory or tradition. Conversation prompts will help us get to know one another as we share food and stories around the table.  \n\n\n\nOn July 29 at 5:30pm\, First United Methodist Church hosts a traditional Mission Meals dinner prepared by Carl Williams. Tickets will be sold for this meal\, with proceeds supporting a joint missions project.
